Sign: " The 'Viper' was a wooden single-seat rocket-powered interceptor designed to be launched vertically near German industrial targets subject to Allied attacks.  In its nose it carried 24 Foehn 73 mm air-to-air rockets, that the pilot would launch at American bombers before parachuting to safety.  No Natters are known to have been used operationally.
