By getting just the right angle, it is possible to see one or two of the scanning holes, lighted by the dark orange material in the back of the display case. This shot shows one of the holes. It is somewhat out of focus, as the camera focused on the reflection in the magnifier. The edges of the hole were quite distinct to the eye.
